In the past, nasal surgery involved more primitive tools, including hammers, chisels, and clippers, to break the nasal bone and cut through cartilage. This resulted in facial swelling, bruising, and general discomfort. However, like many medical procedures, rhinoplasty has advanced a great deal in recent years. Our facility offers Piezotome® rhinoplasty—a special technique that employs a vibrating ultrasonic device (known as a Piezotome) to reshape the nose. This technique produces impressive long-term results with minimal recovery time.
